Objective

Play It Forward Sports Summit explores what’s next in sports media and athletics. The event hosts a wide range of industry leaders, athletes, and experts as they discuss cutting edge ideas in the world of sports. The branded elements helped define a playful and energetic tone for the summit, uniting students, teachers, and professionals through their love for sports.

 
 

Challenge

With the brand identity provided, the execution visually captures the mood of the event and bring the identity to life. A thorough system of marketing, directional signage, and swag establishes the summit as a milestone in Boston Sports Journalism.

Approach

I created a system that emphasizes the action and personal voice of sports media. Strong typography grounds the bold imagery and color to promote the energy and excitement of sports media. Directional signage uses images, rather than arrows, to lead the attendees to their destination. The copy is playful and unexpected to match the tone of a sportscast.
